I've drifted through this pregnancy with all the other big emotions, fear, sidesplitting fear, worry, anguish, misery and bliss from time to time. But other than being overtired and hungry (and therefore somewhat grumpy) in my 1st trimester, I haven't been really CRANKY.
Ooh that changed.
Beginning this past weekend, I am CRANKY. Cranky... maybe that is not the right word. What is the word when you want to rip heads off and use them as dodgeballs to pelt the other people whose heads you haven't ripped off yet? That's what I am.
What's pissing me off (this list is likely to increase over the course of the day):
- Work, particularly when it has to be done on the weekend
- Cat shit in the floor
- Pig bitches who piss on the toilet seat and then aren't housebroken enough to clean up their own repugnant filth
- People
- People in cars
- People in cars who don't use their blinkers
- People in cars who don't use their blinkers and then suddenly turn without warning
- A sudden aversion to pot pies
- Air
- Seeing a postcard in the company mail to my boss from a design group who have included a handwritten note that says, "Hey ___, it was so great working with you, I hope to work with you again. Any big projects?"
- Loud noises
- Mold
- Being awake
- FTP sites that DON'T WORK
- Internet Explorer 7
*grumble*
Aww...and you just got the carpets cleaned didn't you...the kittys did 2sies again?!

Oh man can I relate. When I was pregnant with Chip I was a force to be reckoned with!

Man, when AIR pisses you off I don't want to be anywhere near you. Unless you mean the band. Sometimes they piss me off too.

Um ... well ... I'll be in the foxhole if you need me. Just tap on the helmet.

What always pisses me off when I'm cranky is, Blowing Air. From the a/c, from the fan, from the window--if the air is blowing, it's annoying. Not to give you additional ideas :)

I heard you!....hang in there!

This post, and all the comments have me rolling!
While pg, I was such a sweetheart. Yeah. So sweet that I bitched and griped at my Mom for having the nerve to help (for several days, no less) paint our nursery. For BOTH kids! I'm going to hell for sure.
Now, just in case one of the things that pisses you off are people who feel the need to share their own stories during your own crankfest...well, I'm going to go hide now. :)

FTP sites that don't work SHIT ME too and I'm not even pregnant!

Well, hey, you may be annoyed with the world but you still are funny. Although, you probably didn't mean to be funny . . . just honest. I'll shut my trap now.

Funny is always good. And since I'm not as cranky today, I won't have to kill you Ali. :)

21 weeks here and the cranky started yesterday. Want to know what set it off? As I was pulling up my oh-so-sexy maternity pants my security badge flipped off the elastic just as I was flushing. I flushed my badge down the toilet. It all went downhill from there, I promise you.
Hope everyone stays out of your way. :)

Cycling.
I like how the crankies sneak up on you - all of a sudden the blood is boiling and you're caught completely unaware. Fun!

LMM, with the flushing her badge down the toilet! BWAHAHAHAHA! That is the best laugh I've had in a while.
Ohhhh, lawd. *wipes tears*

Ha! Veruka has nothing on you! Daddy!
Enjoy the snark!

SarahD - so glad it made you laugh. Really. The experience may have been good for something! :)
As for you, Olivia, I've had Veruca's song in my head for the last few days, thanks to you! "I want the world...I want the WHOLE world..."
Problem is I can't remember all of the words so it's just looping around in my head. I'm torn. Do I look up the lyrics so I can sing the entire song or hope that it's almost run its course?? Hmm...
